Do I need an E-mail account for this class?

You need an E-mail address and the ability to send and receive attachments. This class meets only once a week and communication is extremely important.  If you don’t have the web at home, the lab(room 4260) is open Mon- Thurs. 8:30-10p.m. and Sat. 9-4.

What if I have to miss class on the night of a test?

There are no makeup tests. If you miss class on the night of a test, you will still earn a good grade by completing assignments on time and completing extra credit assignments if necessary. All the tests dates are given on the first night of class, so you can arrange your personal schedules accordingly.

What are the prerequisites for this course?

You should have take DPR 100 and know all the basics of WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS, POWERPOINT & Internet Explorer. This class is taught on Windows 98 using Microsoft Office 2000.  Some functions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint are not on previous versions of Microsoft Office. Access 2000 assignments cannot be completed on previous versions.
